Peggy-Sue Winterhalter is a Missouri-born Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a lifelong ponderer who firmly believes that some of life’s best questions don’t come with quick answers.
Married for 45 years to the boy who grew up next door, Peggy-Sue’s life is deeply anchored in family. She is a proud mother of two, with four grandsons and a great-granddaughter who bring her immense joy. Throughout her many careers, she has interacted with people from all walks of life—including atheists who challenged and tested her faith, ultimately helping her grow stronger in what she believes. She has always found creative ways to share her faith, at one point even making custom T-shirts as a way to spread the Word without speaking a word.
To Peggy-Sue, pondering is like looking at the clouds and watching until shapes begin to form. One thought leads to another, and gradually, a deeper truth takes shape. About thirty years ago, while comforting a co-worker going through a dark time, the words flowed effortlessly. She will never forget how the Holy Spirit used her that day—a profound spiritual encounter that later inspired her second book.
After more than thirty years of collecting thoughts, experiences, and questions about faith, she felt a distinct call to step outside her comfort zone and finally begin writing.
Peggy-Sue doesn’t believe the Christian walk is about having every answer or never losing your way. Her own walk with God has been filled with faith, questions, wrong turns, and the determination to keep going. She hopes her books encourage you to ask questions, seek Christ for yourself, and continue growing in your relationship with Him—one step at a time.
